Thank you for a great year! 

What an incredible, unforgettable first year as the instructional leader of Pine Bluffs Elementary. Stepping into this role, I knew I was joining a special community, but spending a full academic year with our fantastic students, dedicated staff, and supportive families has exceeded all my expectations. I am truly blessed to be a part of the LCSD2 family as the instructional leader for Pine Bluffs Elementary. As I look back on the year, I am filled with immense pride for what we have accomplished together.

Our primary mission is to ensure every student learns at high levels, and the data from this past year shows we are doing exactly that. Our end-of-year data reflects a measurable increase in student achievement, with a significantly higher percentage of students meeting or exceeding their growth targets. This year, we made it a priority to celebrate not just the students at the top of the leaderboard, but every student who showed growth. Recognizing personal milestones proved to be a powerful motivator, showing our kids that hard work and perseverance always pay off.

A school must be a safe, positive place before great learning can happen. Our staff worked tirelessly to cultivate an environment where students felt seen, valued, and encouraged. We leveled up our positive behavior celebrations this year. From individual shout-outs to school-wide rewards, we cheered on our students for making good choices, showing kindness, and demonstrating PBES pride.  The energy in our hallways has been joyful and focused, a direct result of a staff that models positivity every single day.

We have built a phenomenal foundation over the last nine months. To the Pine Bluffs Elementary staff: thank you for your relentless dedication to our kids and for supporting me in my first year. To our community and families: thank you for partnering with us. We had a great year, but we aren't done yet. I am incredibly excited for the years to come to see just how far our students and school can grow.
